Calm Engineering for a
Chaotic World
A small senior team building digital infrastructure that stays operational for years. We're two engineers in Tallinn, Estonia who take on fewer clients deliberately — so every project gets senior attention from day one through year five. No contractors, no handoffs, no account managers. Just the people who build your system, maintaining it.
Our Values
Thoughtful Engineering
We believe in measuring twice and cutting once. We prioritize architecture and maintainability over rushed features. Every decision is made with the next five years in mind, not the next sprint.
Transparency
We work in the open, keeping you informed at every step. No black boxes, no hidden surprises. You'll have direct access to the engineers building your product — not a project manager relaying messages.
Long-Term Thinking
We build software that is designed to last, minimizing technical debt and future-proofing your investment. The stacks we choose are boring by design — proven, stable, and well-documented.
Our Mission
We're a two-person senior team — no contractors, no handoffs, no account managers. The engineer who scopes your system is the same one who builds and maintains it. When something breaks at 2am, the person fixing it already knows every line of code.
We take on fewer clients than most agencies — deliberately. Fewer clients means deeper ownership, faster context, and someone who's actually invested in your long-term success. Most of our clients have been with us across multiple systems and years.
Based in Tallinn, Estonia — GDPR-compliant by default and built for long-term partnerships. We chose Estonia because it combines EU regulatory clarity with a digital-first culture. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's global edge network, giving you performance and compliance out of the box.
Technology Stack
We choose modern, proven tools that make systems fast, maintainable, and easy to operate across the web, edge, and product infrastructure.
How We Work Together
Direct communication
You work with the engineers responsible for the system. That keeps decisions fast, context intact, and technical tradeoffs visible instead of filtered through status reports.
Calm execution
We prefer steady progress, written decisions, and weekly evidence over dramatic delivery promises. Complex work becomes easier when the rhythm is predictable.
Shared ownership
We treat the product as something your team should understand and operate. Handover notes, monitoring, and maintainable architecture are part of the work, not afterthoughts.
Anonymous Project Scenarios
These are representative patterns from the kind of work we take on, written without client names or private implementation details.
Turning an MVP into an operable product
A founder has early traction but a fragile codebase. We stabilize the architecture, introduce deployment discipline, and create a path for subscriptions, onboarding, and support workflows.
Replacing manual operations with reliable workflows
A team is losing hours to repetitive document and customer-support tasks. We design automation around their existing process so humans stay in control while routine work becomes measurable.
Helping a team choose the next technical move
A product is growing but every feature feels risky. We audit the codebase, map the highest-leverage fixes, and help the team sequence improvements without pausing delivery.
About Nuvo Code FAQ
Where is Nuvo Code based?
Nuvo Code is based in Tallinn, Estonia. We work with clients remotely and build with EU privacy expectations and long-term operational clarity in mind.
How large is the team?
We are intentionally small: two senior engineers with direct responsibility for the systems we design, build, and maintain.
Do you use contractors?
No. Our default model is direct senior engineering ownership, so the person making technical decisions is also close to the implementation and maintenance work.
What kind of companies are a good fit?
We are a good fit for founders, SaaS teams, and operational businesses that need reliable software, senior technical judgment, and a partner who cares about maintainability after launch.
Why stay small instead of scaling like a typical agency?
Staying small protects quality, context, and accountability. It lets us take fewer projects and give each one direct senior attention instead of spreading responsibility across layers.
